American Chestnut

I recently managed to get my hands on some American Chestnut that was reclaimed from a barn in Mystic, CT that had been built in the 1830s. The American Chestnut was hit by a blight in the early 1900s and was almost wiped out. In the present day the only place to get this wood is from lumber reclaimed from buildings built prior to the blight.
