Polyester resin is a clear thermosetting resin that can be used to cast items
and matrials in a variety of different ways to create pen blanks as shown below.
As a Binding Medium
It can be used to bind materials together to make a pen blank such as coffe beans (left) or shredded money (right)
As an Outer Shell
It can be used to create an protective shell around materials such as snakeskin (left) circuit boards (right)
